About Torgiano

Symbol of TorgianoTorgiano is a city in the province of Perugia. It is located in the valley where the Tiber river meets the Chiascio. Its name is linked to ancient Rome, but also to the god Janus, to whom the ancient tower , called precisely Torre di Giano, was dedicated. During the Middle Ages, the city took the shape of a fortified village, which we can still admire today. Located in the heart of Umbria, among vineyards and olive trees, Torgiano is certainly among the most beautiful villages in Italy and is famous throughout the world for its DOC and DOCG wines, and for its renowned DOP extra virgin olive oil.
